An autopsy was conducted Tuesday on the body of a 2-year-old girl found Monday in a well on property belonging to her mother's boyfriend.
Results of the autopsy were pending, Kentucky State Police said.
Before her body was found, police had been looking for Laynee Mae Wallace for nearly a week, thinking she had been taken by her mother's boyfriend, Anthony Barbour, 25.
Barbour was arrested when he was found Monday in a vehicle during a traffic stop in Barren County, and Laynee's body was found about an hour afterward near the same spot where she had been reported missing, according to state police.

her body was found in a well on property Barbour owned, the Associated Press reported.
Laynee and her mother lived with Barbour at his home near the Barren/Monroe county line.
State police said Barbour was taken to the Barren County jail on Tuesday. He is charged with custodial interference based on a warrant issued early in the investigation.
He also faces several charges in an "incident surrounding his apprehension" Monday in Temple Hill. Those charges are kidnapping of an adult, first-degree burglary and resisting arrest.
State police said more charges were expected.
Barbour already was wanted on outstanding warrants in Barren County for theft by deception.
