Three men robbed a Donatos pizza delivery driver about 11:40 p.m. Sunday, Lexington police said.
The driver was delivering pizza to 1840 McCullough Drive when he was jumped by the men, Lt. David Biroschik said.
WKYT reported that the apartment was empty when the driver arrived, and then the three men came from behind.
The men took an unknown amount of cash from the driver, as well as pizza and drinks, Biroschik said.
Investigators suspect that the original call was a setup, WKYT reported.
