Police are asking for your help to catch men who robbed and shot a man after he got out of an Uber car. If you have information about either the Crime of the Week or the Suspect of the Week, do not try to take action on your own. Police are asking for your help to catch a trio who robbed and injured a man after he got out of an Uber car.

At 6 a.m. June 26, the man received a ride from Uber to 7th Street and Limestone. After getting out, he was approached and assaulted by three black men in their late teens or early 20s. They robbed the man, then shot him multiple times when he tried to resist. The victim sustained life-threatening injuries, but survived.

Bluegrass Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the solving of this crime.

Suspect of the Week

This week’s Suspect of the Week is Ceandre Young, wanted on charges of first-degree burglary. Young is described as 19 years old, standing 6 feet, 2 inches tall, and weighing 150 pounds.
