Arson suspected in fire that damaged vacant building on UK’s campus

The University of Kentucky issued a crime bulletin Friday after a person reportedly set fire to a vacant building on campus.

Someone entered the first floor of the house at 665 South Limestone and set the building on fire about 11:50 p.m., according to the bulletin. No injuries were reported, and there was moderate damage to the building.

Anyone who was in the area or saw something in relation to the fire is asked to call the Lexington Fire Investigation Bureau at 859-231-5672.
