Crime of the Week

This week’s Crime of the Week is actually a series of crimes: someone has been breaking into vehicles in the Clay’s Mill Road corridor.

Over the past two months, a crew of at least three people has been breaking into vehicles in the area, targeting Shillito Park, Wellington Park, Cardinal Run Park, and properties in those vicinities. Police say they are responsible for 20 to 30 separate thefts. They are stealing wallets, purses, electronics and other valuables. The three have been caught on camera, and two women have been identified. They drive a purple Chevy Tracker.

Bluegrass Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the solving of this crime.
