Former University of Kentucky basketball player Preston LeMaster has been arrested on drug charges in Bourbon County.

LeMaster, 32, was arrested by the Paris Police Department and booked into the Bourbon County Regional Detention Center on Tuesday. A jail employee said he was released the same day.

LeMaster was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and having a controlled substance not in its proper container.

LeMaster was a walk-on for UK from 2002-06 and played high school basketball at Bourbon County High School.

In February 2014, Lexington police issued him a citation on a misdemeanor charge of theft by deception after a woman said he sold her fake tickets to a Wildcats game at Rupp Arena against Texas A&M.
