Campbellsville University will offer its first doctoral program this fall, according to an announcement from university President Michael V. Carter.
Carter said the university’s doctorate in management is an “exciting and historic moment for Campbellsville University and the mission of Christian higher education.”
Carter said university officials received notification June 15 that the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Colleges, the university’s accrediting agency, granted the change.
Donna Hedgepath, the vice president of academic affairs, who recently also was named provost, said, “Campbellsville University will be introducing more doctoral programs in the future.”
Specializations will be offered including leadership/management, human resource management and cyber technology management.
