A Mercer County high school student brought two Tasers to school Monday.
In a letter posted on the district's website, officials said "it was not the student's intent to harm or threaten others," but the "matter is being taken very seriously."
Fellow students reported to administrators at Mercer County Senior High that the student had "two box-type Tasers," and an investigation was launched with the superintendent and Harrodsburg police.
A week ago, a student took an inoperable gun to King Middle School. Officials said the student in that incident also had no ill intent.
