Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to speak at Transy about "green capitalism"

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an environmental lawyer and activist, will speak about "green capitalism" at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 14 at Transylvania University. The Kenan Lecture will take place at Haggin Auditorium. A reception will follow in Carrick Theater.

Free tickets for the Transylvania community are available through Thursday at the at the campus center. The general public may pick up tickets from Friday through Jan. 14; the limit is two.

According to a news release, Kennedy's speech will focus on how a well-crafted energy policy will help sharpen American competitiveness while reducing energy costs.
