Another wrongful-death lawsuit has been filed against Comair and its parent company Delta over the crash of Flight 5191.
The estate of Betty Young, one of 49 people to die in the Aug. 27 crash, filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Lexington yesterday for unspecified damages.
The mother of four was on her way to Naples, Fla., when she was killed. The lawsuit alleges that Comair was negligent in failing to provide the appropriate training to pilots Jeffrey Clay and James M. Polehinke, the only survivor.
The airplane took off from the wrong runway and crashed shortly afterward. This is the seventh lawsuit filed against Comair.
