A Kentucky State Police trooper died Monday when he fell from the roof of a barn he was helping repair, according to Pulaski County Coroner Clyde Strunk.
Mason A. Flynn, 24, hit his head and likely died instantly, Strunk said.
Flynn lived in Pulaski County and patrolled neighboring Rockcastle County, Strunk said.
Strunk said the accident happened about 10:30 a.m. on Pine Hill Road.

State police said in a news release that Flynn had been with the agency two years. He graduated from the academy in January 2015 and was first assigned to the Pikeville post.
Flynn transferred to the London state police post in February.
