A Frankfort man has been charged with crashing his Jeep into a Shelbyville man who was mowing his lawn.

Jamey Munford, 40, was arrested Friday by the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, according to WDRB News.

Deputies found Munford in his vehicle in the yard, with bloodshot, watery eyes and slurred speech and they smelled alcohol. Munford’s young daughter was in the back seat.

The victim was taken to University of Louisville Hospital with injuries that weren’t considered life-threatening. The riding lawnmower was severely damaged.

Munford was charged with reckless driving, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, assault, resisting arrest, wanton endangerment, criminal mischief, driving without insurance and possession of marijuana.
