An Adair County man has been indicted on almost 300 counts of sex charges, including a human trafficking charge.
William Todd Bryant, 45, of Snake Creek Road, Columbia, faces a charge of human trafficking, victim under 18 years of age.
The indictment states Bryant intentionally subjected an unnamed boy, born in 2007, to commercial sexual activity.
Bryant, who’s also accused of 45 counts of first-degree sodomy from June 2016 through May 17, 2017, engaged in deviate sexual intercourse with the same child, the indictment states.

The indictment contains 250 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and indicates Bryant had about 7,000 (but no less than 250) digital images, photographs, videos, and movies showing sexual performances by a minor.
The final count has to do with promoting a sexual performance by a minor under 16.
According to the indictment, on March 24, 2010, Bryant produced, directed, or promoted a performance that included sexual conduct by a minor who was less than 16 years old.
Bryant is being held in the Adair County Detention Center on a $500,000 cash bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for 1 p.m. Sept. 12 in Adair County.

Bryant had ties to Casey County as the former administrator of Liberty Care and Rehabilitation Center.
