Five children were injured Saturday when a pickup truck crashed into a playground in Louisville, according to media reports.
The driver of the Ford pickup lost control for unknown reasons, and the truck struck three children on the playground at William Harrison Park, according to WAVE 3. Two more children were injured by flying debris, WAVE 3 reported.
The driver and a passenger were taken to a hospital in critical condition, WLKY said. The playground equipment was severely damaged, WAVE 3 reported.
The three children who were struck were rushed to Norton’s Children’s Hospital, according to WLKY. One was pinned under the truck and suffered a broken leg, WLKY said.

All five children were listed in critical condition but were stable, WDRB reported.
No charges have been filed against the driver, police told WAVE 3. The Louisville police traffic unit is investigating.
