The death of a 7-year-old girl whose body was found in an Allen County creek Saturday is being investigated as a homicide, according Kentucky State Police.
Gabriella Doolin was reported missing about 7:40 p.m. Saturday by her mother while they were at a football game at Allen County-Scottsville High School, according to a news release from state police.
Scottsville police found Gabriella’s body at 8:05 p.m. in a creek in a wooded area behind the high school and notified state police, according to the news release.
An autopsy will be done in Louisville to determine the cause of death, state police said.
