Man dies, four injured in Anderson County crash

A man died and four people, including two children, were injured in a traffic accident in Lawrenceburg on Monday.

Jonathan Robert Liles-Meeks, 24, of Lawrenceburg, was driving west on Ky. 62 when the car collided with an eastbound pickup, said Dr. Mark Tussey, Anderson County coroner. Liles-Meeks was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:30 p.m.

State police said in a news release that the pickup, driven by Bradley S. Waldridge, 30, of Lawrenceburg, crossed into the oncoming lane and hit the car Liles-Meeks was driving on Fox Creek Road at 1:16 p.m.

Waldridge and his passenger, Waylan Waldridge, 20 months, were taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, as was Liles-Meeks’ wife, Samantha D. Meeks, 24, and Floyd Meeks, 4.
