One man was dead Wednesday after an officer-involved shooting in Grayson County, Kentucky State Police said.
At about 2 p.m. Wednesday, the Grayson County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a domestic disturbance with a shot fired at a residence on Saint Paul Road northeast of Leitchfield.
When officers arrived they were met in the driveway by a male suspect with a firearm advancing toward them, state police said in a release.
One officer fired his weapon, striking the suspect several times. The suspect was later pronounced dead.
State police said the investigation is in its preliminary stages. More information will be released after relatives have been notified.
