A pedestrian who died after being hit by a vehicle in Somerset Friday night has been identified as a man from Nancy.
Adam R. Moody, 48, was walking in the road along Ky. 914 in Pulaski County when he was hit by a vehicle at about 7:15 p.m., according to the Somerset Police Department.
Police said Misty Mitchell, 29, of Somerset was driving a 2005 Toyota southbound when the vehicle hit Moody. Police said he was wearing dark clothing and the road was dark.
Moody’s vehicle was found on the side of the road just north of where Moody was hit.

Mitchell was treated for minor injuries at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
