A Laurel County woman who came to bail out a relative from the county jail ended up behind bars herself, charged with public intoxication.
Kimberly Wilder, 50, of Keavy, drove to the jail Sunday night to post bond for the relative. Deputies received complaints of a woman smelling of booze in the jail lobby, according to a news release from the sheriff’s department.
They found Wilder getting into a car in the parking lot outside the jail with an open can of beer, the report states. She was found to be under the influence.
