A body believed to be that of a man who has been missing since March 7 was found in a Whitley County river Saturday morning.
A Golden Alert was issued for Joel S. Moses, 48, of Brush Arbor, on March 7 after his family became concerned about him. Moses required medication.
Members of the Woodbine Fire Department had been searching the area for just under an hour Saturday when they found the body among debris in the Clearfork River at 11:24 a.m., according to a news release from the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department.
The body was about a mile from where Moses’ truck had been found along U.S. 25 in the Pleasant View community.
An autopsy is being scheduled.
