A pedestrian died after he was struck Tuesday night by a pickup truck in Owsley County, Kentucky State Police said.
Dusty B. Stamper, 35, of Booneville was pronounced dead at Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, police said in a release.
Stamper was walking west on Ky. 30 when he was hit by a Chevrolet pickup driven by Donnie Coomer, 61, of Georgetown, state police said. Stamper was then taken to the Breathitt County hospital.
The collision happened just before 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, about 5 miles east of Booneville.
