The body of an 11-year-old boy who went missing Monday afternoon in Big South Fork River was recovered Tuesday morning.
Kaden Allen had been swimming back from the far side of the river about 5 p.m. Monday and didn’t make it across, McCreary County coroner Tim Corder said. Kaden’s body was found about 11 a.m. Tuesday after an overnight search.
The apparent cause of death is drowning, Corder said, but an autopsy will be conducted.
