Several buildings on Eastern Kentucky University’s Richmond campus may be without water after a water main broke Thursday evening.
EKU officials sent out an alert about a water main breaking on the main campus at 8:45 p.m. on Thursday. The alert said the university’s facilities services personnel were on the scene.
EKU said Coates, Jones, Keith, Campbell and other buildings could be without water until the lines are repaired. One or more lanes of Lancaster Avenue could be closed during the repairs.
At this time, it is unknown how long repairs will take.
