A 16-year-old Willisburg girl was killed Monday night in a two-car crash in Washington County.
Ople White died at the scene, according to Kentucky State Police. Ople was a passenger in a Hundai driven by Holly Horton, 42, of Harrodsburg.
Horton was driving west on Kentucky 1754 about 8:30 p.m. when her car went through an intersection and into the path of a northbound Nissan, according to police.
The Nissan, driven by Christopher Mattingly, 42, of Shelbyville, struck the rear driver side of Horton’s car, according to state police. Mattingly was uninjured.

Horton and White weren’t wearing seat belts, according to state police. Horton was flown to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition.
Another passenger in Horton’s car, Makenzie Horton, 15, of Harrodsburg was not injured, according to state police.
