Kentucky state trooper saves man, daughter from floodwaters

A Kentucky State Police trooper rescued a man and his daughter early Tuesday morning after they got stuck inside a vehicle in rising floodwaters.

Trooper Adam Childress arrived at 2:46 a.m. on Norwood Mount Zion Road in Pulaski County to find the man and his 3-year-old daughter in a vehicle that was “on the verge of being overtaken by strong floodwaters,” according to state police.
