A Bath County man sought in the slaying of his wife last week was arrested Thursday in Indiana.
Police began looking for Christopher Todd White, 42, last Wednesday after Judith White, 44, was found fatally shot in her home in Owingsville, according to Kentucky State Police.
Christopher White was found Thursday morning in Gibson County, north of Evansville, Ind.
Bath County Coroner Robbie Powell said last week that the couple had at least one child together.
Police officers found Judith White’s body Aug. 24 after her employer reported that she had not shown up for work, Powell said.
There is an arrest warrant out for on a murder charge, but he won’t be officially charged until he is picked up by Kentucky State Police.
White is being held at the Gibson County jail in Princeton, Ind.
