A Russell County pharmacist was indicted Wednesday for allegedly defrauding the Kentucky Medical Assistance Program, according to Attorney General Jack Conway's office.
Eric Grider, 43, a pharmacist from Russell Springs, was indicted by a Franklin County grand jury on six felony counts.

According to the indictment, Grider allegedly defrauded the Kentucky Medical Assistance Program by billing Medicaid for different drugs than were given to his customers.
The indictment was sought by Conway's Office of Medicaid Fraud and Abuse Control. Grider will be arraigned in Franklin Circuit Court on August 1.
