Three people died Tuesday in a head-on collision on a southern Kentucky road, and one person was seriously injured, Kentucky State Police said.
Candi J. Byers, 29, of Albany, was driving south on U.S. 127 in Clinton County about 8 p.m. when she lost control of her 1997 Cadillac and crossed into the path of a 2004 Ford Ranger pickup driven by Brenda S. Logan, 44, also of Albany, who was traveling north.

Candi Byers and her passenger, Kasen Byers, 3, died at the scene, about 2 miles south of Albany. A passenger in Logan's vehicle, Belinda L. Logan, also died at the scene.
Brenda Logan was airlifted to University of Kentucky Hospital in serious condition.
No one involved in the wreck was wearing a seat belt, state police said. And the child was not properly restrained.
State police did not release the relationships of the people in each vehicle.
