Eversole allegedly struck Begley in the head with a glass ashtray during the argument, and then both men left the house, state police said.
Begley returned to the residence first. State police said Begley shot Eversole, who died at the scene, when Eversole arrived at the house.
Begley is being held at the Laurel County Detention Center.
