A West Virginia man died Thursday in Northern Kentucky after the vehicle he was driving was struck by a tractor-trailer, Kentucky State Police said.
Paul S. Hemann, 40, of Lesage, W.Va., was driving north on Ky. 9 in Bracken County about 1:50 p.m. Thursday when he lost control of his vehicle and crossed into the path of a tractor-trailer going south toward Augusta, state police said.
Debris from the collision struck a third vehicle that was also traveling south.
Hemann died at the scene.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, whose name was not available Friday, was taken to University Hospital of Cincinnati. The two occupants of the third vehicle were not injured.
