State police are looking for a prisoner who walked away from the Frankfort Career Development Center Monday morning.

Travis Hylton, 27, had been working outside when he escaped at 11:21 a.m.

Hylton is a white man, 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing 275 pounds. He has brown hair and green eyes and was last seen wearing a khaki shirt and pants and a white tee shirt.

He might have been picked up near Interstate 64. State police said he could be traveling in a white four-door 1993 Plymouth Acclaim sedan with license plate number 489-GJA.

The corrections department Web site indicates that Hylton was convicted of three counts of drug trafficking in June and one count of bail jumping in August.

Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 1-800-222-5555.
