Kentucky will receive nearly $10.5 million in federal stimulus funds for programs that lower energy use, reduce carbon pollution and create green jobs, officials said Monday.
The money will be administered by the state Energy and Environment Cabinet. At least 60 percent will be passed through to local governments. Some of the money will go toward photovoltaic systems to provide solar energy to one or more schools.
