Salt Lick pedestrian killed Sunday

A pedestrian died after he was hit by a car Sunday night in Bath County, Kentucky State Police said.

Todd L. Wages, 38, of Salt Lick was struck by a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Priscilla C. Patrick, 47, of Morehead, state police said.

Patrick was driving eastbound on U.S. 60 near Midland when she failed to see Wages, who was walking eastbound, police said. He was hit by the passenger side fender, and thrown into a ditch.

The accident happened at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, and remains under investigation by Trooper Scott Ferrell.
