Police seek help in Frankfort homicide

A Lexington man was shot and killed in Frankfort early Saturday morning, according to Frankfort police.

At 12:39 a.m., police responded to a shooting at the Veterans of Foreign Wars building at 104 East Second St. They found a black male suffering from a gun shot wound lying in the street near the intersection of East Second Street and Capital Avenue.

The victim, Larry Starks, 56, of Lexington, was transported to the Frankfort Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
