The Tide Loads of Hope mobile laundry program will be in Pike County beginning Tuesday to help residents affected by recent flooding.
The program will offer free laundry service to county residents and relief workers who do not have access to clean clothing.
Participants may drop off laundry at the Loads of Hope Truck, which will be at Food City, 2136 South Mayo Trail in Pikeville. The service will be available noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Monday, Aug. 2.
The clothes will be washed, dried and folded. There is a maximum of two loads a day per family. No bedding, jackets or other large pieces will be accepted.
