State police are investigating the death of a Corbin man after a tractor overturned on him in Laurel County Saturday.
John L. White, 40, was clearing heavy brush in a field just off Strunk Road when his tractor hit an embankment and overturned, Trooper First Class Don Trosper said.
Police received a call about the accident at 5 p.m., after the property owner, Charles Ennix, returned home and heard the tractor still running. Ennix found the tractor on its side with White pinned underneath.
White had been using Ennix's property to house some livestock, according to a news release from state police.
