Pulaski man dies in U.S. 27 wreck

Kentucky State Police are investigating the death of a Pulaski County man.

On Saturday morning, police responded to a single car traffic accident on U.S. 27 north of Somerset.

Police discovered a 1998 Ford F-150 pickup truck operated by Homer S. Moore, 57, of Eubank facing southbound on the northbound shoulder of U.S. 27. Because the car was minimally damaged, police think Moore suffered some kind of medical emergency rather than a traffic crash.

Moore was transported to the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital for treatment of his ailment, but was pronounced dead at 9 a.m. Saturday. An autopsy is expected to be performed to determine the exact cause of death.

Trooper Chris Ison is conducting the investigation and was assisted by the Pulaski County EMS.
