An 11-year-old girl was flown to the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center for treatment after being involved in a wreck in Laurel County early Tuesday, London police said.
The girl, Amber Ritterbach, was a passenger in a 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser that collided head-on with another vehicle, police said in a news release. Ritterbach was in fair condition at the UK hospital Tuesday afternoon, a spokeswoman said.
The driver of the Chrysler, Jacinda Rains of London, and another passenger, Jessica Rains, were taken to St. Joseph Hospital for treatment.
The three were on their way to school when the wreck happened at 7:57 a.m.

Police said it appeared that the other vehicle, a 1998 Ford Ranger pickup, crossed the center line of the Hal Rogers Parkway in London, colliding with the PT Cruiser.
Hall said the driver of the pickup, Dillon Hall of Manchester, must have fallen asleep after getting off work, according to the news release.
Hall and a passenger, John Hall, also of Manchester, were taken to St. Joseph hospital.
London Officer Eric Wilkerson is investigating.
