BETHANY — A 19-year-old Campton woman was killed Friday when her car went off Rose Bend Road in Wolfe County, traveled down a hill and went into a pond, Kentucky State Police said.
Police said Myranda G. Rose was found dead inside a 1997 Oldsmobile Cutlass at 3:19 p.m. Friday. She was the only occupant and was not wearing a seat belt, police said.
The accident occurred at 2 a.m. Friday, police said.
Evidence at the scene, police said, indicated that the car was traveling east on Rose Bend Road near Bethany when the tires dropped off the roadway on the left side.

Police said the car appears to have crossed the road, crashed through a fence and traveled down a hill into a pond, where it stopped.
There is no indication that anyone else was in the car at the time of the wreck, and foul play is not suspected, police said.
