Kentucky State Police arrested two Harlan County men Tuesday on charges of murdering a man two years ago, according to a news release.
Thomas Polson and Carl Justin Simpson, both of Cumberland, are charged with murder in the death of James Feltner, of Lynch, state police said. Polson also is charged with first-degree robbery, and both men are charged with tampering with physical evidence.
Feltner's family reported him missing in mid-July 2011. About a week later, people riding all-terrain vehicles at an abandoned strip mine at Blair found his body.
At the time, police released a photo of Feltner holding a rifle similar to an AR-15 and said someone might have sold or disposed of it at the time Feltner went missing.
