A Northern Kentucky man died in a diving accident at Lake Cumberland on Sunday, according to Pulaski County Coroner Chuck Godbey.
The man, George J. Fiorini, 42, was from Cincinnati but had recently moved to Ludlow, Godbey said.
Godbey said the investigation indicates Fiorini dove from a cliff 40 to 50 feet above the water in a cove. He surfaced once and yelled, then went under and did not come back up, Godbey said.
Divers found his body in about 45 feet of water, Godbey said.
