The Kentucky State Police on Saturday issued an Amber Alert for a nine-day old girl whose mother, Desirae Nicole Davidson, 16, is in foster care in Williamsburg, but the alert was later cancelled after the baby was found.
Details were not immediately available about where or how the baby was located.
State police said in a release that Davidson stole her foster parents' car sometime after 11 p.m. Friday and left for an unknown location, though they said she might be headed toward Cumberland in Harlan County.
The baby girl is medication-dependent and the mother did not take the medication, according to the state police.
