‘United Storm Relief' fund created

Local media companies are teaming up for “United Storm Relief,” an effort to raise funds and get help to thousands of Kentuckians affected by this week's ice storm.

The effort, in support of United Way of the Bluegrass, includes WKYT, News Radio 630 WLAP and the Herald-Leader.

During a live “United Storm Relief” fundraiser from noon to 7 p.m.

on Monday viewers and listeners can make a donation or ask

questions by calling (800) 500-1513.

During newscasts and afternoon programming, “United Storm Relief” representatives will tell Kentuckians how to make donations and to get assistance.
