Kim Jung-un is blatantly attempting to develop the capability to deliver an intercontiental ballistic missile with a nuclear warhead to the U.S. mainland. As I watch Fox News, I learn of his continued progress to achieve his goal. He’s getting far too close. Every time I hear of his firing yet another ICBM, I wonder why the U.S. allows him to continue.
The Obama administration did absolutely nothing to deter him. And while I hear rumblings from the Trump administration, seemingly waiting on China to do its bidding, I fear that one morning in the very near future one or more U.S. cities might wake up to a mushroom cloud above it and millions of citizens dead beneath it.
Why do we not simply intercept and demolish any missiles fired by North Korea? We have the anti-ballistic missiles to do it. When we detect their firing another missile, why not just intercept it with one of ours and destroy it? They could then saber-rattle all they wished, but if they actually elected to retaliate we should annihilate them.
President Donald Trump did exactly the correct thing in sending in the missiles in Syria. Let’s stop this North Korean threat right now.
