“In a state and nation where so much seems to be going wrong” — that is the opening of the column concerning Lexington’s appeal to attract visitors.
Tom Eblen again wasted an opportunity to write a nice column devoid of his political drivel. Just what that “wrong” could be is left up to the reader. Pick one, he tacitly suggests.
He could have used his marginal talent to give us something to brag about, something of which we could be deservedly proud.
“So much seems to be going wrong” is simply lib-code that suggests that we would be so much healthier, wealthier and wiser if only Hillary Clinton was president and Jack Conway was governor.
Instead, Eblen just can’t get over the election and will use every snide remark in his considerable arsenal of snide remarks to pound away at President Donald Trump and Gov. Matt Bevin. He could actually be able to write something interesting if he left his bile in the ink well.
