Teacher pensions well-earned

May I say thank you to Tom Eblen for his informative, easy-to-understand commentary on Feb. 16 on the now-in-jeopardy teacher pension plan? That plan is well-deserved support for the difficult, dedicated, not-a-9-to-5 job of teaching the minds of Kentucky children.

Having taught 27 years, I can vouch for this. Teachers pay their own wages into this pension and do not deserve to have it whisked away from them.
