Two historic markers honoring Lexington’s gay history were unveiled June 3 at 224 E. Main Street outside the Bar Complex and on Water Street behind the Livery.

It’s wonderful to see that Mayor Jim Gray has fulfilled his full potential and gotten a permanent marker installed to remind us of his legacy. It apparently has always been to make Lexington the LGBTQ capital of the country. Congratulations, Gray.
