I am running for state representative to bring fiscal sanity back to Frankfort.
I have been married to my wife, Melanie, for 16 years, and together we have four beautiful children. My wife and I both work for small businesses. My family is trying to make it, just like you and your family.
My goal is to make Frankfort work for us. We need to stop the excessive taxing, borrowing and spending that have become the norm in state government. Frankfort needs to live within its means, just like you and me.
My opponent has been the state representative for 20 years, including the last several as chair of the Economic Development Committee. In the last few years, the Commonwealth of Kentucky has lost tens of thousands of jobs under her watch. I do not feel like she is doing her job, but she asks you to help her keep it.
If you did not do your job in this economy, would you be able to keep your job?
Taxing and spending more have gotten us into a huge mess. We are not going to fix that mess with the same people doing the same things and not being held accountable for poor results. Most of us recognize this.
As your representative, I will be active and accessible. Please check out my website at www.richardforky.com. I ask for your vote on Nov. 2.
