Kenneth Stepp: 'Advocate for ordinary people'

Kenneth Stepp is a candidate for the Democratic nomination in the 5th congressional district.
Kenneth Stepp is a candidate for the Democratic nomination in the 5th congressional district.

My response to your endorsement of my opponent in the Democratic primary for the 5th District of Kentucky is the following:

I am the best candidate in the Democratic primary for the 5th District congressman for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, because I am the strongest advocate for ordinary people, working people, the working poor, the disabled, the elderly retired, women and religious and racial minorities.

As a Democrat, I support those programs that most benefit ordinary people.

As a Democrat, I oppose those programs that benefit only rich investors, such as our continued wars in the Middle East. As a Kentuckian, I support traditional Kentucky values, including right to life, family values, and the Second Amendment right to own firearms.

I share the founding fathers' views on the separation of church and state. I share the founding fathers' views that powerful large industrialized nations should not be using that military might to bully small and backward nations.

My background as a naval officer, a lawyer and a student of industrial management also make me the most qualified candidate, because it helps me to make good decisions.
