One lane of eastbound Interstate 64 in Franklin County was closed Tuesday morning after a truck fire, Franklin County Sheriff Pat Melton said.
There were no injuries, and Melton said at 9 a.m. Tuesday that both lanes would be open within 10 minutes.
The sheriff's office and county firefighters responded to a call at 7:26 a.m. Tuesday after a tire caught fire on a truck pulling a trailer with a load of hay.
Both lanes were closed temporarily as the truck and trailer were removed from the road, Melton said, one lane was reopened soon after.
